About the Journal
HKG – The Journal of the Lower Saxony Memorials Foundation provides a platform for scholarly contributions to the history of National Socialism and its lasting effects. These can be studies of historical matters and how National Socialism was dealt with after 1945 with the accompanying legal, social and political consequences. We welcome analyses in the field of (comparative) memory culture as well as educational and memorial work, including issues and topics pertaining to evaluation research which are relevant to the present day.
