Abstract

The Wildau Conference on Artificial Intelligence (WiKKI25) provides an interdisciplinary platform for exchange between academia, industry, and society on the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in industrial practice. In light of global challenges such as climate protection, resource scarcity, cybersecurity, and economic resilience, the conference highlights AI as a key for sustainable transformation. The contributions in this proceedings volume range from applications for improving energy efficiency and protecting critical infrastructures to human-machine collaboration in the spirit of Industry 5.0, as well as data-driven business models and ethical considerations. WiKKI25 thus demonstrates the versatility of AI and outlines ways in which digital technologies can responsibly contribute to shaping a sustainable and future-oriented industry.
